How to use the Skyjo score counter
Enter the names of 2 to 8 players. At the end of each round, type each player’s score, tick the player who went out, then add the round. The counter applies the doubling rule, adds up the rounds and announces the winner as soon as someone reaches 100 points.
The game is saved on your device. Made a typo? “Undo round” removes the last round added.
How scoring works in Skyjo
At the end of a round, each player flips their remaining face-down cards and adds up the values in their grid. Cards range from -2 to 12. A column of three identical cards is discarded and no longer counts. A positive total adds to your game score, a negative one lowers it.
The doubling rule
The player who went out, meaning the first to reveal all their cards, must have strictly the lowest score of the round. Otherwise their round score is doubled. A tie with another player is not enough.
Doubling only applies to positive scores. A score of zero or below stays as it is.
| Player who went out | Score recorded |
|---|---|
| 8 points, an opponent on 5 | 16 |
| 8 points, an opponent on 8 | 16 |
| 4 points, everyone else higher | 4 |
| -2 points, an opponent on -5 | -2 |
End of the game
The game ends after the round in which a player reaches or passes 100 points. The player with the lowest total wins.
